NIGERIA - The Nigerian Content Rules.: An article from: APS Review Downstream Trends
The Nigerian Content Act came into effect on 22nd of April, 2010 following the signing of the Bill into law by His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, President & Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria thereby establishing the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board.
The board has commenced operations to realise the aspiration of the Federal Government of Nigeria to increase indigenous participation in the oil and gas industry, build local capacity, create linkages to other sectors of the national economy and boost industry contributions to the growth of our National Gross Domestic Product.
In compliance with the Act, the Board is moving its operations to the NCDMB Headquarters office block at Revenue House Eradiri Road, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State from which location, it will continue the task of implementing the provisions of the Nigerian Content Act with attendant benefits to Nigerians.

Unemployment is the worst case, but these can be minimized through education to everyone. In India, Government has made compulsory education to the all the children's and i hope in future there are more job openings and everyone gets benefited.
